The Creator
Through The Lens Media is led by Joshua "Dewey" Deuermeyer—an Air Force veteran, professional photographer, videographer, and FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot.
My approach to visual storytelling was forged by two powerful chapters: a 21-year career in the U.S. Air Force and nearly a decade behind the lens capturing high-action narratives, documentary journalism, and deeply human moments. That combination delivers one clear advantage—your project will be executed with precision and adaptability, regardless of location, conditions, or complexity.
I specialize in portraits, lifestyle imagery, and engagement sessions that feel alive and authentic. I focus on movement, energy, and genuine connection, creating images that look like you—clean, intentional, and refreshingly original instead of templated or overly posed.
